Current Sires

We are proud to introduce our three sires for 2024. High Country Koax, Glenlands J Even Break and Glenlands D Emperor. We produce both stud sires and commercial bulls. Our selection process is rigorous. All our young bulls are semen tested, DNA tested and Pompes and Pesti free.

Honouring the Droughtmaster

We pride ourselves on the bloodlines of our herd. We developed our droughtmaster cows over a period of 15 years using Lake Moogerah Sires which allowed us to deepen our genetic pool based on the 50+ years of Lake Moogerah Droughtmaster Stud. In 2020 we decided to classify 23 of these home bred cows and heifers. Since that time we have added depth to our stud breeders with the purchase of 20, D5 cows and calves from the final dispersal of the Lake Moogerah Droughtmaster Stud. We sought some of the older cows with strong links to the Vet School sires and other strong stud bloodlines. Ashley Stevens, a passionate breeder who founded the Lake Moogerah stud, worked alongside Sir John Francis as the Farm Supervisor at the Vet School farm at Pinjara Hills in Brisbane. Ashley developed the Lake Moogerah stud in the 1970’s. We are proud to continue his work and the Lake Moogerah bloodlines he developed. We value his input and guidance in selecting the best sires from high quality genetics as we continue to improve our herd.

Heifers and Cows

Heifers and cows are the backbone of our business. They are the key to the quality cattle we have to offer. Our commercial and stud cows are an outstanding line. We aim to breed the best quality Droughtmasters with structural integrity, outstanding temperaments, fertility and clean coats. They are guaranteed to put meat on heavy bones. Our herd is extremely competitive in the commercial market.
